Civil Engineer

Duties include:
- Project management and client interaction
- Conceptual and technical design tasks
- Public presentation
- Coordination with in-office surveyors and landscape architects and out-of-house consultants
- Construction administration
- Computer drafting / modeling and assembly of construction document sets
- Mentor junior staff as available
Prerequisites include:
- Registered Professional Engineer or Potential EIT Candidate
- 3 to 5 years of related work experience
- Proficient in usage of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Competency with all basic MSOffice software

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Exceptional writing and public speaking capabilities

CAD Technician
WPL is seeking a CAD Technician/Designer to join our team of land surveyors, landscape architects, and site engineers. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience using AutoCAD and Revit. Responsibilities include drafting technical details and preparing design variations.
We’re looking for a self-motivated individual who is eager to learn and available to work 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Instrument Technician – Survey Crew
WPL is currently looking to hire an Instrument Technician to join our survey team. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a strong work ethic. The candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading survey equipment from the company vehicle, following verbal and written directions, learning how to take land measurements, and communicating effectively with others.
The candidate must also be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions on commercial and residential sites, including waterfront and beachfront locations, and be eager to serve as a valuable member of the survey crew.
The hourly wage will be discussed during the interview.
